everyone's worried about undersea cables but my copper line still drops out every time it drizzles
cool cool cool, what about the rural people who can't even get fibre? nah let's protect cables for the city folk

Actually this is critical infrastructure. If those cables go down we're cut off from the rest of the world. Worth the investment imo.
