Honestly, this is what happens when you let the council run things. Probably spread from the local pool knowing my luck.
mate, I've had scabies before working at the resthome. it's no joke. wash your bedding in hot water and stop borrowing other people's clothes.
scabies at a resthome? would've thought it'd be bedbugs. same family of little critters eh.
apparently they can survive off the body for 48hrs too. so yeah, wash ya bedding hot, don't share towels. common sense really.
Oh no, the poor mites! Hope everyone's okay. My nan's in Whanganui, I'm gonna call her now.
ffs not again, we had enough trouble with the mouldy rentals in this town. now bugs too. landlords need to step up.

typical RNZ, making a mountain out of a mite hill 🙄
lol calm down, it's a pun ffs. the headline literally says 'real head scratcher'.
yeah nah get stuffed, it's actually serious. i've seen old ladies scratching till they bleed. don't downplay it.
you're right, it's not funny for them. hope the health board sends extra help to Whanganui.
heard the treatment is just a cream, why ppl making such a big deal? scratch scratch mate get over it 😂
get real, the cream doesn't work if you're living in a shithole where it just comes back. demand better housing.
just called nan, she's fine. said the chemist is selling out of cream though. poor workers must be tired.
facts, but bet half the town still won't do it. saw the queue at the dairy earlier, whole lot of scratchers.
