lol classic wellington, spend millions on a plan then scrap it when it gets hard. typical.
yeah but the plan was rushed and over budget, better to cut losses now
i actually wanted the golden mile, the city looks so shabby right now and we need the upgrade
get stuffed mate, they've been stuffing around for years and all we get is chaos
meanwhile the council just wasted half a mil on consultants and reports. but sure, let's go back to potholes and cracked footpaths
good. more money down the drain on fancy paving while we can't afford bus fares

exactly, it was a vanity project from day one
so we're just accepting mediocrity now? auckland would never let this slide
lol cope, meanwhile the cycle lanes still don't connect anywhere
tell me youve never worked a day in construction without telling me. the project was already dug up, now we gotta fill it back in? ffs
bloody hell, typical council - start something, panic, cancel it. job security for the consultants i guess
as someone who catches the bus through town every day... i just want it to work. don't care about cobblestones or whatever
what a load of shit. the city's falling apart and they cancel stuff that actually fixes things
