oil drops 20% and my ticket to chch still costs a kidney. classic.
but isn't jet fuel cheaper now? why aren't fares dropping? I don't get it
anyone actually seen fares dropping? I checked last week and aucks to queenstown was still $350 return
they'll drop $5 and call it a 'major reduction'. get stuffed

lol airlines will use any excuse to hike prices but when costs drop it's 'we're monitoring the situation'
it's called hedging mate. airlines buy fuel months in advance. doesn't change overnight
tbf jetstar already had a sale... but air nz still taking the piss
facts. but also carbon tax is a huge part of it now
meanwhile the carbon tax makes up half the fare anyway. oil price is just one piece of the puzzle
