oh great another ministry that'll just be a cosy job for his mates while the rest of us deal with crumbling infrastructure
same here, real sick of them just creating new departments instead of actually doing the work
Honestly, I think Bishop's trying to do the right thing. The RMA was a mess. Let's see how it goes before we all lose our minds.
lol 'see how it goes'? mate we've already seen his track record. he's all talk no action
amplify the environment? what a load of spin. they just want to bulldoze everything for development
exactly, they'll just fast-track consent for their developer mates while the rivers get more polluted

I'm doing an assignment on the RMA reforms and honestly this new ministry sounds like a joke. Who actually is going to be accountable for environmental outcomes?
ffs we don't need another bloated ministry. just fix the consent process and get on with it
yeah nah get stuffed. another layer of bureaucracy that will cost millions and achieve sweet FA
Some of you are so cynical. Wait and see what they actually do before writing it off.
sounds like you're already drinking the kool-aid. wait till you see the budget blowout
Look at the history of these 'new ministries' in NZ. They always end up in the news for wasting money and delivering nothing. Why would this be different?
preach. it's always the same cycle, announce, waste money, scrap, repeat
