about time we got some solar up north. sick of the lines company taking the piss with prices
username checks out. must be your lunch break from saving the planet? lol
yeah nah get stuffed. another solar farm that'll prob get built by overseas workers while local sparkies sit on the bench
BP involved? so it's greenwashing. bet they'll still pump out oil elsewhere. just a feel-good project
it's not just about targets. it's about cheaper power. do u not want that?
won't someone think of the cows? ffs

cows will be fine. they can graze under the panels. agrivoltaics mate look it up
lol imagine being mad about renewable energy. we need this stuff if we want any chance at meeting our climate targets
well said. feel-good for the corporates. but hey if it actually generates power i'm for it
ah yes let's just cover all the good farmland with panels. brilliant idea. can't eat sunlight
get stuffed. nobody's eating sunlight. but we need food too hey. balance ffs
as long as they bury the cables properly and don't cause more outages like the last lot. sick of the power going out every time a bird sneezes
171MW is actually decent. might make a dent in the grid. but who's paying for it? us i bet
hope this works out. we need more renewable energy and less coal. good on contact energy for stepping up
will believe it when i see it. these projects always get delayed or cancelled. case in point: ruakākā solar farm
