pool noodles and preschoolers, this is how they distract us from the real issues in aged care. wait till you see the bill for these 'joy' visits
mate this is exactly what we need more of. my nan's in a home and the difference a visit from kids makes is unreal. good on them
cute but where's the funding for actual care? nurses are overworked, residents need more than a pool noodle once a fortnight
you're not wrong about the funding, but don't hate on the little ones trying to do good
as someone who works in a resthome i can tell you the residents bloody love these visits. yeah it's not fixing the system but it's something real
facts. but if it gets ppl talking about aged care then maybe it's a start

wholesome content finally not a story about house prices or crime lol
this is so beautiful. my mum always lights up when the little ones come round. joy is medicine too 💕
yeah nah they still use daily fees to hook up tax free profits while the staff are paid minimum wage. but sure, pool noodles fix everything
lol you'd complain about a free ice cream. chill out
stop turning everything into a conspiracy ffs. sometimes things are just nice
imagine being so bitter you can't even enjoy a story about kids cheering up old people. get a life mate
