Morning coffee ruined by this headline. Another thing to worry about now? Great.
Whanganui again? Seems like there's always some outbreak there. Maybe the council should sort out basic hygiene in public places.
tell me about it, we're just expected to deal with it on our own as always.
ffs, just got the email from school about this. We've got three kids, gonna be a nightmare if one brings it home.
we're paying enough taxes. Where's the mobile clinic?
Scabies is no joke. My nan's rest home had an outbreak last year, took months to clear. Hope the health system is actually helping Whanganui.

sigh. here we go again. another crisis that'll take ages for anyone in govt to actually do anything about.
If people actually followed the treatment properly it wouldn't keep spreading. Read the instructions folks, it's not that hard.
to say when you're not the one dealing with it. Some families don't have the resources mate.
Yeah nah get stuffed, this is what happens when you underfund public health. But sure, let's blame the victims.
but the article says 'massive' increase, and 'Whanganui' is spelled with two 'n's actually. Just saying.
Is it just me or does the article spell 'scabies' wrong? Should be 'scabies'? Actually nvm, but the headline says 'massive' in quotes, bit dramatic imo
