So let me get this straight – Māori leaders are asking the UN to intervene before the government even passes a law? Classic. Why not try talking to the actual people of NZ first? Whatabout the millions of kiwis losing their jobs to climate regulations?

ffs here we go again. Another law that’ll make it even harder to run a business in this country. Companies need protection from endless lawsuits, not more red tape.
Maybe if the government wasn't trying to shield polluters from accountability, we wouldn't need to go to the UN. This is embarrassing.

Good on Mike Smith for taking this to the UN. Our government has its head in the sand about climate change. Companies should pay for the damage they cause!
