yeah nah this is a joke. Social workers not showing up? What a load of shit. Kids' safety is 'at risk' but they can't be bothered?
get stuffed mate, they knew the job when they signed up. No excuse for not showing.
Worked in the system for years. Underfunded, overworked, and management doesn't give a crap. Fix the pay and conditions then talk about no-shows.
one's making excuses, just saying there's more to it. But sure, keep yelling.
So who's actually responsible when a kid gets hurt because no one turned up? Feels like everyone's pointing fingers and no one's accountable.
Honestly heartbreaking. These workers are trying their best but they're set up to fail. We need more funding not more blaming.

cheers mate, exactly my point. someone's pocketing the cash while kids suffer.
typical government cut corners, kids pay the price. Ruth Money is right to call them out. ffs.
nah easier to blame workers than look at the system. Typical.
Wonder how many managers got bonuses while this was happening? Waste of space.
sounds about right. managers get bonuses, workers get burnout, kids get nothing.
As a social work student this is demoralising. We go into this to help and the system just chews everyone up.
oh so now we feel sorry for them? kids are dying and you're making excuses.
Worked with OT before. The caseloads are ridiculous. 30+ families per worker in some places. No wonder they can't keep up.
