oh great, another article telling us nothing new. rates gonna go up anyway, war deal or not.
Exactly. They'll hike anyway just to 'be safe'. Meanwhile my mortgage is killing me.
As someone in construction, this is just noise. Oil drops, but my material costs are still through the roof. No way rates drop any time soon.
Susan Edmunds is always so doom and gloom. Can we have one piece of good news without a 'but'?
facts. doom sells clicks, doesn't matter if it's real
so if oil goes down, petrol goes down? yeah nah, we all know how that works... 🙄

I'm just glad the war might be over. That's worth more than interest rates right now.
you're joking right? war ending is great but have you seen what the banks are doing? still gonna screw us
What about the dairy industry though? They're the real backbone of this country, and no one's talking about how they're getting screwed.
Honest question: if the conflict ends and oil drops, why can't the Reserve Bank at least pause? Doesn't make sense to keep hiking when inflation is already cooling.
lol hope you're right but I doubt it. Orr loves his hikes.
I'll believe it when I see it at the pump. Last time oil crashed, petrol went down by 2 cents then back up 10. Bloody joke.
literally this. companies use any excuse to jack up prices but never drop them.
