what could go wrong? the same govt that can't fix a pothole.
facts, but I've got zero faith in this mob.
mate it's a no-brainer if it actually works. freed up the case officers to actually talk to people instead of drowning in paperwork.
oh great, another algorithm designed by the cheapest bidder. can't wait for the automated 'you don't qualify' with no human appeal.
cheap shot. procurement is tighter now after that stuff.
as long as it's faster than the current system, i'm all for it. mrs k next door waited 6 months for her application.

has anyone actually seen the tender specs? wonder if they've even tested the bias in these tools.
it's not bias if it's built right. problem is they never get built right.
ffs people, it's 2026. we use code for everything else. the issue isn't automation, it's whether the rules are fair.
oh look the same idiots that brought us the Novopay fiasco are now in charge of benefits. get stuffed.
lol cope. same govt that blew millions on Novopay.
if it helps the front line staff spend more time with clients, that's a win. just hope the algorithm is transparent.
sooner they fire Louise Upston the better. she's been a disaster.
typical nanny state. push the paperwork onto a computer, then when it screws up, say 'sorry, system error'. nah.
get stuffed. we all know how this ends.
read the article. they said it's to *assist* not replace. calm down everyone. jesus.
yeah exactly, 'assist' they reckon. next year it'll be 'the algorithm decided, sorry'.
