Oh great, another tax on people trying to get to work without driving. Classic council logic — 'not enough passengers, let's charge them more' 😐
yeah nah get stuffed. They don't care about commuters just their pockets
what a load of shit. $30 for a one way trip to Auckland? might as well drive
exactly mate, fuel would be cheaper than this ripoff
They wonder why no one uses public transport and then pull this. I'd love to take the train but it's cheaper to drive with a mate. Absolute muppets running the show
Honestly if you're a student it's already too expensive. This is just gonna push more cars onto the motorway. Well done councillors 👏

So they expect a 7% drop in passengers and STILL put the prices up? Maths wasn't their strong suit at council was it
they probably think a 7% drop is 'acceptable'... brain dead
My flatmate takes Te Huia twice a week for work. Guess he'll be looking for a new job or a carpool. Cheers for nothing council
But the CEO's bonus is safe I'm sure 😒
it's actually embarrassing how inept they are
I actually think the train is okay but this is a joke. They should be making it cheaper not dearer if they want people out of cars. Simple stuff
facts. and then they'll blame the lack of passengers for cutting the service completely
Bet the councillors all drive to work in their private cars too. Wouldn't wanna catch public transport with the plebs
I don't get why they don't just subsidise it more. It's not that hard
