Would've been cheaper to just not arrest him in the first place lmao
agree. no one's above the law, not even the cops. that's the whole point.
10k for getting pepper sprayed? Where do I sign up?
you'd rather have police do whatever they want? Sounds like a utopia /s
Good on him. Police need to be held accountable for their actions, no matter who it is.
yeah nah this is a joke. bloke's a serial protester, probably did something to deserve it

serious? He literally got pepper sprayed illegally. That's assault. Pay up.
All that taxpayer money going to this guy instead of things that actually matter. Unbelievable.
bet you'd change your tune if it was your granddad getting maced for no reason
Minto's been protesting since before I was born. He knows the system better than the cops do lol
He's been doing this since the 80s, he knows what he's doing. 10k is nothing compared to what the police have cost us in court cases over the years
If the police broke the law, they should pay. Simple as that. Maybe next time they'll think twice.
get real, he's not your granddad, he's a professional agitator. Still got paid though, good for him I guess
Wouldn't be surprised if this is just the beginning of a much bigger payout. Watch this space.
