Love seeing more diversity in football! Hope this actually inspires some young girls to take up the sport.
especially for Indian kiwi girls. Been waiting for this!
They're not all that though. Bet they can't handle the heat in Aussie league.
Yeah nah good for them I guess but the Phoenix are still gonna finish last again lol
About time we had some proper representation. My niece is half Indian and she's obsessed with the Ferns now.
Inspire 'the next generation' while the current one can't even afford to play with all the fees. Try fixing grassroots first.

cope harder. Grassroots is fine, kids just need role models like this.
get stuffed. You're just bitter because no one cares about ur opinion
South Asian girls playing footy? That's cool. Now if only the media stopped pretending NZ is just white and Maori.
Exactly! More representation the better. Love seeing brown girls in football kits.
Great story but let's see the funding match the talk. Women's sport still gets scraps compared to rugby.
mate, funding is crap. But that's not their fault, they're just playing.
Lmao another wokewashing article. NZ football can't even qualify for tournaments but sure, pat yourselves on the back.
sounds like someone couldn't cut it in juniors lol
These two have actually achieved something unlike some commenters. At least they're making a difference.
ffs the negativity here is unreal. Let the girls have their moment, what's wrong with you lot
