yeah good one simeon, real smart move. 'distracted by politics' says the bloke who's literally a politician 😂
cope. maybe the council needed a shake-up. can't just cry 'interference' every time someone disagrees with u.
ffs, last thing we need is the government stacking medical bodies with yes-men. patient safety goes out the window when ideology comes first.
too right mate. they always say 'cutting red tape' but really it's 'cutting accountability'.
what a load of shit. bet he's just mad they wouldn't rubber stamp his mates' private health deals.
oh great, more political interference in our hospitals. like waiting times aren't long enough already 🙄

worked in healthcare a decade. seen councils get gutted for 'efficiency' then everything falls apart. this is just another hatchet job.
i mean, if the medical council was actually focused on politics instead of safety, maybe clean-up was needed? hard to know who to trust tbh.
u clearly haven't worked in health mate. this is how mistakes happen - when managers override clinicians.
fair point actually. maybe i'm being naive. just sick of everything being a political football.
brown's office says one thing but doctors on the ground say another. i'll take the docs' word over some suit in wellington any day.
damn straight. seen it happen at my old ward. accountant types making calls on staffing. end result? more stress on nurses and worse outcomes.
