what a joke. six people dead and they can't even release the report on time? classic council delays.
yeah but if they rush it and get it wrong, then what? more deaths? take the time.
as someone who works in geotech, this is complex stuff. better to get it right than rush and mess up again. but yeah, frustrating wait.
facts. they'll sugarcoat it and call it an 'unprecedented event'.
ffs my lunch break read and now I'm just annoyed. remember that family who died? they deserve answers.
that's what I think too. but still, the families need closure.

typical council incompetence. probably gonna blame it on heavy rain or climate change. just own it for once.
if we can't trust the council to manage a hill, what can we trust? smh.
exactly, it's literally a life and death matter.
my cousin was meant to be at that campground that night but changed plans last minute. still gives me chills. hope the report is thorough.
bit harsh to blame council for a landslide. sometimes shit just happens. but yeah, the wait sucks.
everyone here acting like experts lol. just wait for the report and then complain. that's the kiwi way.
lol the classic 'wait and see' approach. typical
rip to those six people. this country's safety standards are a joke sometimes.
you're not wrong. just tired of all the negativity online.
bet they're just polishing the language so it doesn't make them look bad. waste of taxpayer money as usual.
