oh great, another classic case of 'let's cram everything in and see what sticks'. kids these days don't need more subjects, they need sleep and a bit of common sense.
agree with you sam. kids need rest, not more useless subjects.
what a load of rubbish. teachers have been crying about 'crowded curriculums' for decades. maybe just teach less stuff better ya reckon?
lol tell that to the academics who design the syllabus. they're out of touch.
tbh i dropped english as soon as i could. never needed shakespeare to fix a car or read a spreadsheet. uni's a scam anyway.
yeah nah get stuffed morgan, english teaches you to string a sentence together at least.

as a mum, i just want my kids to be happy at school. they're stressed enough with ncea, why make it harder?
i feel for the teachers, they're the ones who have to shove this down kids' throats. politicians should try teaching a bloody class for a day.
facts. ministers couldn't last a day in the classroom without crying.
sam again. honestly who cares about poetry when half the country can't do basic maths?
nz herald: the only thing overcrowded is the education minister's fridge. sorting out the curriculum? yeah nah, more important to do a press release.
i'm just tired of hearing about 'consultation' that changes nothing. same old same old.
true, nothing ever changes. just noise.
