They've been saying El Niño is coming for months, but suddenly SPREP announces it like it's breaking news. Classic distraction from the real stuff happening with the govt.
people like u would complain if they warned early too. Can't win
Great. So we get no rain AND my power bill goes up cos they'll blame it on 'drier conditions'. Bloody typical.
nah, they always wait till it's happening to say something. Typical SPREP
another dry summer ahead, better start filling up the tanks now
Why is no one talking about how climate change is making these events worse??? We need real action not just reports

Mornin' coffee interrupted by this... great. At least the weather's been good last week I guess?
Exactly. But good luck getting them to actually DO something about it. Ffs
time to stock up on bottled water then, not like the council will sort us out
buy now before the panic buying starts lol
What a load of shit. They announce this now when half the islands are already in drought?? Where's the plan or just more talk.
watch them blame the lack of rain on El Niño while ignoring the real climate shifts...
