surprised? nah. another day another report that'll gather dust on a shelf. mental health in this country is a joke.
yep, been there. feels like you're screaming into a void.
as a young person trying to get help rn, this hits hard. waited 4 months for a phone call that never came.
mate, it's almost like ignoring the people who need it most is a bad idea. who would've thought?
don't forget the 'wellbeing budget' that somehow didn't reach anyone
my nephew tried to get counselling through school, they said 'talk to your whānau' lol as if that's always safe

100%. 'talk to whānau' isn't an option for everyone, but they love saying it
report says youth not prioritised? no way. shocking. absolutely shocking. 🙄
as someone working in the sector, it's not just 'not prioritised' – they're actively excluded by funding models that don't fit. it's grim.
it's almost like they don't want to fund anything that actually works
sad to read but true. our young people deserve better.
let me guess, they'll announce a 'working group' to look into it. zzzzz
facts. and then they're surprised when shit hits the fan
