ffs another reason to hate banks. They let these accounts sit open for months then pat themselves on the back for 'sharing info'. yeah nah get stuffed.

as an international student this is actually scary. we get targeted so much and the unis don't warn us properly. at least the banks are doing something now? idk

load of crap. they 'detect' the mules but then what? nothing. scammers just open new accounts. need real consequences for the people letting their accounts be used

Mate I work in banking and this is just the tip of the iceberg. We flag accounts daily and still the fraud goes up. bloody hopeless sometimes aye

my flatmate lost $2k to one of those tutoring job scams. we need more education not just behind the scenes stuff. feels like fighting ghosts

the real joke is these bank apps that make you jump through hoops but still let money fly out to shady accounts. sort your systems out before blaming victims
