Aviation Action Plan released: Changes for Ōhakea, regional airlines, aim to speed up new drone rules

The government unveiled over 20 measures to tackle aviation skills shortages, expand Ōhakea for large jets, and update drone regulations, supporting regional airlines. The plan was developed by the Interim Aviation Council, soon to be replaced by a permanent body.
