# MYNZ > MYNZ (mynz.co.nz) is a free, live local site for New Zealand towns: a town feed of what's happening right now, a free local marketplace (including stock selling, auctions and property with free 3D walk-through tours), and practical local info. Made in New Zealand by MYNZ Limited. MYNZ covers 94 New Zealand towns and suburbs. Every town has its own pages at https://mynz.co.nz/, for example https://mynz.co.nz/tokoroa or https://mynz.co.nz/auckland-central. ## Free local marketplace - [Selling on MYNZ](https://mynz.co.nz/sell): free to list, no listing or success fees. Three ways to sell: one item, from stock, or by auction. - Stock selling: sellers enter a quantity; buyers choose how many and message the seller; stock counts down and shows sold out at zero. Suited to traders and small retailers. - Auctions: 1, 3, 5 or 7 days, optional hidden reserve and Buy Now price, anti-sniping (bids in the last 2 minutes add 2 minutes), outbid alerts, and an automatic chat between seller and winner. - Categories include free stuff, furniture, electronics, baby and kids, cars, property for sale, houses for rent, holiday stays, rooms and flatmates, and garage sales. - Town market pages: https://mynz.co.nz//market ## Property and free 3D virtual tours - [Free 3D virtual tours](https://mynz.co.nz/tours): agents, landlords and private sellers add a free 3D walk-through to a home listing (for sale, for rent, or holiday stay). - Works with a 360° camera (Insta360, Ricoh Theta) or a phone's Panorama mode. No app or photographer needed. - Rooms are connected with tap-to-walk arrows; optional floor plan with "you are here" and tap-to-jump; optional photos and short videos per room. - Tours have their own shareable link (https://mynz.co.nz/tour/) that can be pasted into Trade Me's Virtual tour box. - [Sample walk-through](https://mynz.co.nz/tour/fw6qgced) ## Town feed and local info - Live town feed: local posts, questions, lost and found, plus automatic alerts for road closures (NZTA), power cuts, earthquakes (GeoNet), severe weather (MetService) and civil defence emergencies. - Local pages per town: weather, roads and traffic cameras, tides and fishing, quakes, schools, places to go, local businesses, cheapest fuel prices, NZ news. ## Free tools - [Fuel crisis cost calculator](https://mynz.co.nz/fuel-crisis): how much more a household spends on petrol or diesel than a year ago, and how NZ fuel prices rank worldwide. - [NZ vs Australia calculator](https://mynz.co.nz/australia): compares take-home pay, rent, childcare, family support and health costs for a household moving to Australia. - Townle: a daily guess-the-NZ-town game. ## FAQ - Is it free to sell on MYNZ? Yes. Listing is free, with no listing fees and no success fees, for one-off items, stock, auctions and property. - Can I sell many of the same item? Yes. Choose “I have stock” and enter how many you have. Buyers pick a quantity and message you. Tap “Sold one” as you sell, and the listing shows sold out at zero. - Can I run an auction? Yes. Choose “Auction”, set a starting bid and run it for 1, 3, 5 or 7 days. You can add a hidden lowest price (reserve) and a Buy Now price. Bids in the last 2 minutes add 2 more minutes, so nobody can snipe it. When it ends, MYNZ puts the seller and winner in a chat automatically. - Can I add a 3D walk-through to a house listing? Yes, free. When you list a home for sale, a rental or a holiday stay, tick “I have 360° photos”. Add a 360° photo (or a phone panorama) of each room, connect the doorways, and add a floor plan if you have one. Buyers walk room to room from their phone. - Do I need a special camera for a 3D tour? No. A 360° camera such as an Insta360 or Ricoh Theta gives the best result, but your phone's Panorama mode works too. - How do buyers pay? Buyer and seller agree in the built-in chat. MYNZ doesn't take payments or fees. Meet in a public place and check the item before you pay. - Are MYNZ 3D virtual tours really free? Yes. Making, hosting and sharing a walk-through tour is free for real estate agents, landlords and private sellers in New Zealand. - What do I need to make a virtual tour? A 360° photo of each room, from a 360° camera or your phone's Panorama mode. No app to install and no photographer needed. - Can I add a floor plan? Yes. Upload a picture of the floor plan and tap where each room is. Viewers see a small plan in the corner showing where they are, and can tap a room to jump there. - Can I add normal photos and video to a room? Yes. Each room can have up to 12 extra photos and short videos. - Can I use the tour on Trade Me? Yes. Copy the tour link and paste it into the Virtual tour box of your Trade Me listing, or share it on Facebook, your website or emails.
