    PHP Full Stack Developer Hobsonville, Auckland

    An exciting opportunity to help lead the development of our growing platform as Php full stack developer.
    Based in Hobsonville, working at MYNZ allows you to avoid city traffic and join a small but growing development team.

    The successful applicant will be a full stack developer with significant experience writing Php using Yii2, working with front-end frameworks such as Angular, and have a thorough understanding of MySQL and REST APIs.

    Ideally, the candidate should have experience in the implementation of best practice code management, architecture and deployment, and understand/be able to develop AWS infrastructure strategies. Experience in running, or working within an Agile working environment is required, while Scrum master experience will set the applicant apart.

    Core Responsibilities will include:

    Developing new features for the platform,
    Helping manage and maintain the existing code base,
    Testing code before deployment, including building automated tests,
    Assist in the operation and maintenance of our AWS server environment.
    Mutual code review with other team members
    Key Skills/Languages Required:

    To be a team player,
    Excellent English,
    Full stack development, including REST API creation. You should be well-versed in best practice for desktop and mobile web development,
    Experience in Php with the Yii2 framework,
    Experience in HTML, CSS and Java Script,
    Ability to run Linux Ubuntu servers.
    Bonus skills which will make you stand out:

    Experience with GIT source control,
    Experience with Sourcetree,
    Experience with AWS Management,
    Front end development strengths with frameworks such as Vue/Angular,

    Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
